Best thing about spring and summer is the morning light! Not only does it wake me up earlier, but it makes it so much easier to paint! Because my easel and workdesk is right by the window. So the first thing I do in the morning is go to my easel and check my paintings to see how they look in the light. A lot of times I stay up really late painting with artificial light pointed at the canvas. Looks totally different in the natural light. It's like a surprise!
