Where did the time go?

Really? Really? Did it not seem like spring was really long, the weather really great and school just let out? And now, what? Summer is over?!!! Over! I feel like a hamster on a wheel. Running, trying to catch up but not really going anywhere. Time is flying by and I'm repeating my patterns over and over...get up paint, work, check in with my daughter, dinner, paint, go to bed...then repeat! Notice I left a few things out of there? Like, exercise, grab a Diet Coke, and check phone...email, Insta, FB, Capital One, other email, news....over and over and over again. Next thing I know it's on to the next day and the end of the summer!

Somewhere in that time period, I painted a bunch of paintings, and started and didn't finish a whole lot more! In my daily routine, I also added procrastination by organization. This is what I do when I have too much to do or don't want to do something. If I shuffle things around, move the furniture or put things in storage bins or closets, I feel like I'm doing something important. Taking care of the clutter. What I discovered on Saturday when I opened a bin was forgotten paintings! Started, but not finished, but neatly filed away! I plan on finishing them up, posting them, and then getting rid of the bins! More to come!
